butterfield, perkins and steele all get it in the neck, the 3 best players this season. whereas mceverley gets off scott free after one of the worse full back displays i've seen at oakwell.
    bizarre

totally agree. His performance was down there with Paul Gibbs. We need to get shut - he's a liability.

    Yes.
That is the BBS way it seems. Apparently, its 'constructive' criticism...
On JayMac though, he clearly isnt good enough at this level on a regular basis, at LB. So to play him RB was always a strange, rather 'uneducated' decision IMO.
Jay was made available for loan after 3 or 4 of the worst full-back displays I have ever witnessed. And even when he has looked better, he makes crucial errors that usually cost us - Bristol. And some that dont - Leeds.
We need a new LB, and he has to go IMO.
Just my opinion, but echoed by the majority I would say.

He's useless. He tries a five yard pass and takes somebody's head off 50 yards away.

Can't tackle, can't mark, can't track back, can't pass, can't head. Just what is his strong point?

    Really don't agree Whitey.
I sit in ESL and normally for one half a match he plays on my side defending away end and i watch it. He's fine, I think it's shocking that he gets picked out.
He wasn;t good on Monday but it was so uncomfortable for him it was scary for us fans.
He's not as bad as perkins and Done but he doesn't like using that right foot which meant he was too far forward as he wanted them to pass to is left foot. The other players weren't comfortable with it and it wasn't good. When he went back to left back and barnsley changed back to 442 he was fine. He had there right winger fine and there right winger new it.

"He's not as bad as perkins"

Really? You think that Jay McEveley is a better player than Perkins?

He's a better player for is position defo.
Seen Perkins at left back twice and i thought he was weak both times. Against Grimsby i thought WTF have we signed here. Dutch fans that sat near me couldn't believe he was playing in second tier of English football. They even laughed at him.

They couldn't believe he was playing and Goran Lovre wasn't.

I also didn't think he was good against Palace either.

Anyway, if you read what i put i wasn't comparing them as footballers, i was comparing them on the right foot use. Perkins and Done do not use it at all. Perkins cuts half of the pitch off a lot time because of it.

Any pro footballer who is not comfortable with the ball on either side is in the wrong trade. Even my 11 year old daughter can tackle, pass or shoot on either side. No excuses if that's what they do for a living.

Know they don't HAVE to use both feet, thats like saying a writer should be able to pen right a novel with both hands.

Not been funny but having watched womens football on tv in summer , it's s**t and that was pro level stuff. In warm up most players are fine but it's sometimes different in matches.

Utter rubbish. I'm actually laughing at your argument. Football is a two footed game. Writing requires a dominant hand.

    1. No it is nothing like an author having to write with both hands.

    2. Womens football is not ****. I could take you to see a few lasses who would wipe the floor with you. And thats NOT pro level stuff.

Yes but if a book approaches you from the left unexpectedly and you're right handed you've had it.

    Football requires a dominant foot.

You'll be telling me darts players should be able to use both hands and the snooker TOOLS should be put in bin because players should use both hands.
They all require a lot of practice to do with one foot on top level and if you are good with both feet, good for you.

Yet again your examples are way off.

There are a LOT of situations in football where using your weaker foot is required.
