Losing in the minutes added on is... Let's face it, now the norm with Barnsley fc. Although it pains me to say it, the best team won. They we quicker, better organised, willing to hassle our defence into mistakes(which doesn't take much) and got onto the end of the long ball over the top on numerous occasions with ease. Watters and Humphrys did not do the same at the other end and DKD was often the only player who seemed to try to execute the game plan(whatever it was). Watters was ineffective as was Humphrys. Had Phillips not missed that sitter near the end and we had gone on to win the game, it would have been daylight robbery. How Wycombe were not on level terms by half time I don't know.
Where we go from here I don't know, but I suspect it won't be onwards and upwards. After that sh-tshow on Saturday and tonight's game, it ain't looking bright.
