just done a quick check on the club sites fixture list check me if I am wrong, but I make the game in December, which we won 3-0 as our 17th league game.... and that point of the season we had amassed 25 points. Therefore the following 17 games have given us another 25 points. That's quite steady form in any ones books. So that's 1.47 points per game. Therefore if we carry that on till the end of the season we may well get 67 / 68 points. Maybe not play offs but should be a top ten finish. Last season Cardiff finished 8th with 68 pts , Brentford 9th on 65pts and Birmingham 10th on 63pts. If we achieve that total and final placing I will be happy enough with that, and I defy anyone on here to say they would not have taken that at start of the season.
Re: just done a quick check on the club sites fixture list Funnily enough, I thought our 17th league game of the season was the 0-0 home draw with Wigan, which gave us 22 points.
Looking at our fixtures, if we get our form back to our best, we could easily end with a great points total. Those people predicting zero points from Reading, Villa, Brighton and Huddersfield should be over the moon with 5 points. Reckon some still complain.
well feel free matey to check over the fixture list, yer know what I am like. If the Wigan game is in fact the 17th I stand corrected (its an age thing luvvy) but you do get my drift... our season has been a very steady one overall and one to be very pleased with.
Crazy isn't it? We won't have two harder games this season than our last two. Huddersfield are an excellent side. But from now own, our fixtures are pretty kind. Already played 5 of the top 7 twice, and with our away record I'm quite confident ahead of Derby next week, although they have plenty of quality players
