Losing to the Kiwi's at League isnt too bad

Losing at home to Argentina at union however is really not very good. 7 straight defeats now!

Dont think our defence of the world cup is likely to be a very impressive one

Given that we showed what we are capable of against the Aussies, I was expecting better that the hiding we got.

Agree entirely about the defence of the World Cup. We stunk big style, and I can't see how we turn it round in time.

    Looks that way

No doubt it will be pointed out that we have a World Champion in some minor sport that nobody cares about.

I'd be laughing if it wasn't so f**king embarassing. Forgot about the cricket. Or tried to.

I stayed up to watch the Aussie innings ,

holy cow, other than Flintoff the bowling was appalling. Jones dropped a sitter of Jaques when he was on 21and it was downhill from there.

It did show that we are truly awful at 1 day cricket and unless something changes we will be lucky to get out of our group in the World Cup.

Not really that bothered about the one day game, but it would be nice to actually compete now and again. Don't think it'll do our confidence any favours.
