I Said That Because........ whilst having my tea Sky Sports News said Sunderland had accepted a bid from an unnamed championship team for him. I went out socialising and having a few drinks and the dee dar bid happened whilst i was out.
Made a right difference to the side... Think we would be in a lot better league poistion now had he been playing, made the defence look a lot stronger sitting in front of them, class player.
RE: I Said That Because........ Sunderland announced yesterday about 2pm that Sheff Utd had a bid accepted for him.
Saw him against us at Derby and DH will vouch when I say he was shocking. absolutely diabolical. same game that Marc Richards missed the goal from 8 centremeters out. good luck to the Blunts, the Sunderland unofficial site leads with "Stead finally off our hands" or summat.
RE: Saw him against us at Derby He's played pretty well at Derby, seems to have socred and created a few. He actually did really well at Blackburn until Mark Hughes took over.
RE: Saw him against us at Derby Saw his stats at lunch in Premiership, Blackburn was 4 goals in 41 and 1 in 30 for Sunderland!!
RE: Made a right difference to the side... wallwork was different class and that is the type of player we need to stay in this league, not a prayer of survival with lower league signings

Not the best on the planet ... but ... "Meanwhile, Burnley midfielder Micah Hyde is poised to join big-spending League Two side Peterborough United in a £75,000 deal. The 32-year-old has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Posh, who will pay an additional £25,000 if they are promoted this season." I think he'd have done a job. Ball winner, experienced ... and would have brought the kids on.
Peterboro Fan Wins National Lottery or summat? whats going on there? I bet Barry Fry is doing cartwheels. As for promotion or bust Derby County, I sincerely hope they miss out on and have a pint or two at the George and Administration Arms.
Irish property millionaire took over. You really do need to try and keep up with football related stuff a bit more.
RE: Saw him against us at Derby thats B*ll*cks, he got 6 in 13 straight after he moved from Hudds and virtually kept them up that season.
They have a rich benefactor, allegedly. Tum ti tum. I bet it's good fun being a Posh fan at the moment though. We might find out next season exactly what they think. To be honest - I'm not sure Micah Hyde was the right person ... but the right type of player I think we need. One of the lads here is a very knowledgable Leeds fan ... and his exact comment was "have you boys given up already? who the **** are you signing now? has he played league football before?". My mate is a Derby fan. He's loving it.
RE: Saw him against us at Derby Reminded me of a poor man's Rory Fallon when we played them off the park and due to defensive frailties unaddressed by Ritchie and the most glaring miss in the history of football by Marc Richards we **** up the stick.</p>
