With all the speculation surrounding Simon Davey and the likelyhood he will be our new Manager (why else would we appoint him an assistant) Should a new manager have not yet been appointed then he would appoint his own assistant, when he arrives.The managers position appears 'cut & dried' My honest opinion is we need a manager with experience of past campaigns not of future ideas. Somebody streetwise in the hurly burly of Football League. the ups and downs, and how to get up when down. How many are these are there available. without naming names I can think of at least four.
