so what if Uefa did have the balls to opt out of FIFA

    I for one would totally back that. I hope Uefa can see what it could mean. If they did opt out and the member countries voted that there would be a total embargo of players outside their control could not play in any Uefa team/league, I reckon they would hold the whip hand. As supertyke has said, he reckons in such an event then the Yanks and the Canadians would follow suit... I also think the Aussies would too.

    As part of the ongoing protest against the FIFA corruption scandal and Sepp Blatter's incompetent leadership, it emerged today that Scotland are threatening that if the aging leader is elected for a further term of office, then Scotland will "seriously consider" qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.
