    Punished for life? It was about 6 weeks ago. And no I don't think he should be punished for life but if a player performed so badly he would be dropped. He wouldn't be rewarded

    Of course he didn't do it on purpose. Mark Clattenberg is one of the best. He had split second desicions to make whereas we had umpteen slow motion replays to view. He was excellent in Champions league final. Delt with the play acting from Pepe very well

    He didn't have split second decisions to make. He chose to make them despite the laws of the game saying not to. Not only that but after realising his monumental **** up firs time he proceeded to again make the same **** up. Is he refused to acknowledge his mistake

    Why would UEFA punish a referee for a mistake in an English FA competition.

    Had he balls'd up a game in this tournament or the champions league I would undersand it.
