Or will nothing change the way you feel regarding Bfc? Personally I feel there will be an influx of three or four players in by next weekend.
I think we've put the gloom behind us. Even if we were to lose another First Team player from last season it would most probably be Tom Kennedy which most people would view as a positive. However, like you, I think this week we'll see some fresh faces come in.
Personally I feel there will be an influx of three or four players in by next weekend.[/QUOTE] I wish I could share your confidence. Personally I'll be very surprised if we sign anyone next week. Don't think we're due back from Italy until midweek anyway.
Signing 6 quality players next week with 3/4 more prior to the start of the season. Players signed on decent length contracts indicating we have faith in the managers judgement. A strong message coming out of the club saying they appreciate that perhaps they have not handled communications well since relegation with an acknowledgement that serious mistakes have been made. An indication from the club what they would believe success to be. For example they might say thus year is about consolidation after years of neglect and mismanagement the club needs to change from top to bottom and they would see the integration of 3 of our younger players into the team and a top 12 finish as success would seem a reasonable aim to me. Finally a revitalised club intent on becoming a community based supporter friendly club. Reimagining itself for the 21st century. Statements saying that it is the clubs long term intent to end the franchise system for concessions etc. real supporter engagement. Maybe an approach to John Dennis to work on this strategy. I'd be happy as a happy man humming a happy tune if any or most of that happened. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
