    He's played the umbrage card too obviously, probably due to too many lunchtime pints. We should publish a paper on "How to induce perfect umbrage" one of these days

    Garth Crooks? Gus from Neighbours? Derek Griffiths?

    Missed that somehow. I think the key is for it to be a "slow burner", to slowly tease people in, till you've 4 or 5 buffoons taking offence then batter then with Peter Hitchins style outbursts.

    My favourite was the Mike Parry heart attack one, had Roundy, Journo and TT (GG?) in a right fit of indignation.

    Mr Dillinger offered the opinion that he wasn't that bothered about Mr Parry and wouldn't be afected that much if he died. For which the above claimed he should be fecked and burnt.
