I was thinking Hereford might be nice.

    Yeah, I know

Got to let the minnows battle it out first. Bet if Leeds do get through they're hoping for a local derby draw against a successful Championship club to bring a few quid in.

You had me hoping for a while then

I didn't know the score from last night, when I read your post I thought Leeds had lost!

I'd meant to post that before the game

But then it was on "delayed as live" over here so I didn't dare log on in case I saw news of it.

Hereford played well. Should have won it - very good chance in the 89th minute. Can't see how Leeds are doing so well unless they rested players - that didn't look like a team to walk League 1 to me.

RE: I'd meant to post that before the game

From talking to a couple of Leeds fans at work, they've been lucky in quite a number of games, got some late goals. I think at home when they are getting 25,000+ it's probably intimidating a lot of the opposition - be interesting to see what happens now they've had first defeat.

I also saw comments that perhaps Gus Poyet (now gone to Spurs) was the real mastermind rather than Dennis Wise......here's hoping!

Somehow the idea of Dennis Wise, mastermind, never quite rang true.
