even if we go down and wilsons in charge, i have no doubt that i would feel better with him in charge leading the chase to get us back up. Nothing to do with his past as what he did in 1997 will not be eclipsed. He's just the right man at the right time.

I really p1ssed off to be honest that he is not in charge already. With every passing week it is looking less attractive.

Id what someone who would stick around if we went down....I couldn't see Colin or Holloway doing that....so has to be Danny, plus he worked well at Hartlepool on no budget, which ill come in handy next season..

    Resigned to relegation now.

Horrendous in every way mate. Can't see us getting anyone in as manager other than MM

Mellon or Wilson for me but to be honest I'm getting to the point where I think it doesn't matter who we appoint because the players are taking this club down.

I'd like Wilson or Paul Cook (that may surprise a few!)

    We will get Mellon.

The last few years I have always thought that we will be down the bottom but not actually get relegated. But I think this season our luck my have ran out..

Too many lower league players in the same squad, it's finally catching up with us. Need an experienced man in now and a big clear out of dross footballers.

I stand by my selection of Phil Brown which I went on about regularly when Hill was sacked and thought we should have brought him in then. Proven championship quality and more managers should have his balls to not think they are too big to drop a few leagues to rediscover themselves. He's doing a tremendous job at Southend United on what won't be much of a budget compared to what he's up against with the likes of Chesterfield and Fleetwood.

There is absolutely no way that Phil Brown will get the job and rightly so because he is a terrible manager IMO.
