    For someone to show so much faith in him, to throw him in at the Ultra-deep end at Anfield and for the fans to warm to him like they have.

    Well I dunno

    The club WERE tracking him during the uncertainty about Muller, so, while there obviously had to be an element of desperation because of the circumstancesit wasn't exactly a blindfold and pin job.
