Please explain why and how Crainie (who was dire today) gets booked for a shoulder charge, BUT one of their players goes completely thru Dudgeon and we dont even get a free kick???????
Craines booking was blatant and deserved. It came from his own poor defending. You're right though the foul on Dudgeon was a shocker. Definite yellow
What are you talking about, it was a cynical foul after he made a mistake. Blatantly dragged the player back.
He wasn't booked for the (fair) shoulder charge, that was after. Looked blatant for the booking although haven't seen it back.
Crainie was wrong side of their player, and did the same thing about 5 minutes later? It was rubbish positioning. Not sure if it was a booking but he was lucky that their player didn't through.
The foul given against Berry when he decided to slide for a ball that was at his feet. Stupid by Berry, cos it was his ball all the way, but there was no Scunny player in 5 yards. Never a foul in a million years
I don't think the ref saw the foul on Dudgeon. To be honest neither did I as it must have been very late. Surely the linesman must have seen it. Cranies was a blatant yellow for hauling back a player who had got past him. Booking on Berry was ridiculous though ref was poor lucky it was an easy game to ref
I don't think it was late. I think their lad got the ball, but it was two footed and quite high. What annoyed me more was that they got the throw in. As bad a tackle as the one Berry was booked for.
To be fair it's swings and roundabouts. I remember McMahon for Wednesday getting a red card at Oakwell for a similar challenge that he made on/near Rob Kozluk. Nowhere near the ball or the man but it was high, two footed and late, he was sent off for intent. My brother said yesterday as soon as Berry made the tackle, 'he's gone'. I think a booking was a fair outcome.
