Peter Beagrie = Cliche riddled, none wise cracking side splitting comment fest, false joviality with fellow guests, non original comments on football blah blah.

However he was a fantastic footballer,. Remember, the 3 v 3 at Stoke in the late 80s/early 90s Cup Game. Ripped our team apart 2nd half including a last minute equaliser. Could have won it straight from kick off bar a last ditch saving tackle from our defender (might have been Futcher)

Beagrie must be coining it in with his Sky work. Why do nobs like him get on in the Media world?. Spackman another one. Bring back Big Ron say I. At least he never sat on the fence and always saw things in 'black' (!) and white.

I sent him a mail last year. He tried to make out the reason Leeds got so much coverage was because secretely, a few off the production team were non Leeds fans and were gloating in their downfall. So how come this seaosn when Leeds are recovering, albeit in a lower league, they still get dis-proportionate coverage.

He claimed to be an Huddersfield fan which again I reckon is just a cover up.

What I remember about Beagrie in that game was thinking "bloody hell he's fast" and then he just ran off the pitch with the ball cause he couldn't stop!

If someone does send an e mail to Shires, can we try and be a bit cute? There is no point saying how aggrieved we are that Barnsley rarely feature. I know from personal experience, he sent me back an e mail that he had obviously sent to other people saying how good Barnsley were, how they had done well to get promoted etc. He just wriggled his way out of it by trying to 'butter me up'.

Best bet is make out you are a Leeds fans. Compliment them that despite Leeds now being in Div 1 , they are very happy that YTV recognised they are still the biggest club on the region and thank them for getting most coverage. You could put in a throw away comment such as 'It's also appreciated that some of the smaller clubs in the region do get a mention but YTV are right, for example, not to always have to mention the likes of Barnsley, Scunny, Donny etc if it means better coverage for the big clubs such as Leeds, Sheff Wednesday etc etc'

He might just fall into the trap of showing his true colours.
