Anyone who had an Amiga or played computer games back in the 90s will probably remember Sensible (World Of) Soccer. To this day it's still the best football game out there... I spent many happy hours leading Barnsley to European Cup glory back in the day. Good times. Here's the Barnsley team from Sensible World of Soccer 96/97. <img src="http://i67.tinypic.com/34np461.jpg"> Anyway, Jon Hare (the guy behind Sensible Soccer and many other Sensible Software classics) just announced a new game on Kickstarter this week, his first project in many years. I thought that some folks in here might find it interesting. The game's called Sociable Soccer and its Kickstarter page can be found here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/towerstudios/sociable-soccer Here's an interview of Jon Hare that provides some more information: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...-soccer-jon-hare-returns-with-sociable-soccer I'm cautiously optimistic that the game might actually be fun, but a bit worried that the Kickstarter campaign won't reach the £300.000 goal.
Apparently there's a new Kick Off game in the works too... http://metro.co.uk/2015/10/14/dino-dinis-kick-off-revival-coming-to-ps4-5440059/
Totally different. The Boss was a management game, this was one where you actually play the matches. More comparable to Match Day on speccy.
Cool, I hope they make it. I loved Sensible World of Soccer on the Amiga. Cannon Fodder was great too
Sensible World of Soccer. What a game. I loved my Amiga; Cannon Fodder, Populus 2, SWOS, Mega-lo-Mania. Champ Man. I think only footy and music got me out of the house then!!
