    He's knocking on. Unless he goes into coaching I cant see him getting a long term deal anywhere.

    Might be better financially to keep moving to different clubs given his age & ability - as long as he's confident different clubs will keep taking him on that is.

    I kept an eye on his progress for a while. They were in the top 2 after about 6 games. They've only conceded 42 goals all season, which is fewer than anyone else in the bottom half (except Dusselsorf), but have lost a lot of games by the odd goal. They've not won in the league since early December, and appear to have drawn loads. There's probably potential for him to stay at that level if they have indeed been fairly tight at the back. They only conceded 2 more than league winners Schalke.

    One year contract for next year, would easily do a job in league one, only 32, not dead. Easy.

    It doesn’t matter apparently. As long as he was he a fan’s favourite he’s worthy of a place on the coaching staff. See also Redfearn, Hammill, McCarthy, etc etc
