Colgan - worth 20 goals a season.
Tonge - not competent enough at right back. .
Reid - lost a yard or 2 of pace, which is costing him a yellow card for late tackles every other week.
Burns - player of season without a shadow of a doubt.
Wright - not clinical enough to score 20 goals a season. needs to form a partnership with Hayes sharpish.
Hayes - best striker at the club by a million miles. creates more goals than he scores, but great close control, has the bottle to look up and find a man, just needs to get on the end of stuff more.
Devaney - gone missing for 4 weeks. gets an early knock and nips off for an early bath
Howard and McPhail - very similar, can we accommodate both?

made 3 glaring mistakes in the opening 5 minutes on Tuesday, luckily Gillingham were the worst team we've played all season. he's not comfortable at all, his crossing is more of a punt, gets caught ball watching and allows far too many crosses in without challenge. have to say it, we badly miss Hassell.

Burns works hard but cant head a ball, jumps early so he doesnt get injured but he cant pass a ball.

Kell is a far better player who can tackle and pass and should have Brian Howard alongside him.

he ahd a tug at Byfields shirt first half on Tues, cos he'd got wrong side, ref missed it. seen it happening more often in recent games, think he would benefit from Hassell alongside him. and Kay. of course.
