For the first 45 f**king minutes today I had three grown men behind me have a completion it seemed to say who could say the most stupid comment about Danny Rose. I turned around to them at one point and asked them if they were aware that the game was a friendly, the Reds players first game and just the start of the path which will peak 4/5 weeks time.

You can't just throw a load of players together and just say play. cogwill and Cranie, how many times have they trained with each other never mind play together. Can't be many times.

Danny Rose, he will miss chances but who f**king doesn't. He will be annoyed at himself for missing them he doesn't need people knocking him even more by talking ****.

It's like a colt, lets see how long it takes to break him. Butterfield and Stones have had it too.

I would love for fecking Darfield red to exaplin why Abbotts a Clown.

I'm wound up and ready to snap with a few. Okay these Idiots and embarrassments to our club don't represent us all but they make themselves heard and it's not good for anyone.

Or another one. I'm 99% certain I was sat near the family of Chris O'grady. All I heard in the second half was negatives about him. One of his family must have been 10? daughter. Not good to hear also.

I've explained why he played like a clown a few posts previous. Yes I've seen him play on a few occasions now. The kid could look a world beater for the u21s but it's what he does in the senior side that he will be judged on, and he was *****. He's young and will have bad games and when he does it will be picked up on, just like when he plays well he'll be praised.

Who the hell do you think you are? I was one of the so called 'idiots'' sat directly behind you! I think you will find the comments were along the lines of 'he really should have scored those', at no point did any of us personally abuse Danny Rose. I'll be honest with you, I think you talk absolute nonsense about 90% of the time on here but your spot on with this.

I don't do friendlies unless we're playing a biggish team like Man City a few years back & Bordeaux last summer, the reason why? Cos they're meaningless, the managers experimenting with different players / systems, there'll be more players signed before the season starts & players are looking to build fitness & get back into the swing of things.

Add to that we've thrown in several kids who were probably pretty nervous about playing in the first team for the first time.

Luckily we've got a manager that won't jump to conclusions & won't sack off youngsters after one game when they're probably nervous & not full fit

 

The team wasn't even balanced in the first half. It was more about minutes that anything else.
Oates didn't play and I was expecting to see Oates and O'grady split. One plays the first half, the other plays the second. The manager had different plans and in the first half you could say it worked in parts. They got chances.
