Granted he didnt have the best debut but he was thrown in at the deep end into an area Reading were clearly targetting. But after ever touch all i heard was negative comments and even wanted him subbing at half time.

Same here mate. In the first half hour, I heard McDonald called a 'fkin idiot' and Winnall a 'lazy *****.' Another bloke called for Winnall, Armstrong, McDonald and White to be substituted, then started slagging off Kpekawa when he did come on. Really wish folk like that would think on, that they really bloody spoil it for others.
Agree. Some right morons. But you'll get that everywhere. Just laugh at them. What I was proud of was the reaction 95% of fans gave at the end. When it is the norm to boo your team if they lose, whatever their performance, it was so nice to see our fans supporting this team. That has achieved so so much!

Possibly not. But today it was. Nice change. Rather than focus on the few negative ****s just thought it worth pointing out majority of fans clapped the boys off.
That's ridiculous. Especially the one about Hecky. He's a good manager and in my opinion is heading for the top league I think he's that good. The way he motivates players and gets the best out of them is second to none. I'm extremely proud to call him one of our own. If 'fans' are going mad even after we have had 22 shots against Reading, when on another day a few more could have gone in, then it just shows how far we have come from that dreary day in Altrincham. All us real fans know we are lucky to have our club as it is currently. Right from Patrick at the top to the very bottom.
