Some non-football observations from last weekend.....

1) DJ Fatty Boy's t-shirts are awesome. Good quality cotton, well finished and generously sized.

2) Tyketical Masterstroke has very nice parents and girlfriend, but I cannot for the life of me work out how two short-to-average people (Mum and Dad Masterstroke) managed to produce such a tall son.

3) Escalators in a football stadium are surreal.

4) In our section they ran out of mushy peas to complement the 8 quid fish and chips. When questioning the young man at the till, he didn't know what mushy peas were, even though I saw the empty container for them. I presume they don't sell very many.

5) Everyone random I met claimed to have been to Leningrad, usually in the 1970s to sell jeans to impoverished people in bearskin hats.
