theres nothing ridiculous in making a comment that perspective is required. yesterday was a very even game which could have gone either way. We are tenth, despite having the fourth or fifth lowest home attendances in the league and we therefore have a relatively small transfer budget. Just to get things into perspective, James Beattie is on £30,000 a week and Kenny is on £10,000 a week - possibly more than our entire team. However, people are pressing the panic button. It's quite clear that we need a top striker, but then that statement will applies to the majority of the team in this league, or any league for that matter. The aim this season was to build on last season, maintain our championship status and continue to build. All the boxes have been ticked so far this season. We are heading in the right direction.
If I'm included in that, I'm not panicking, simply stating that 2 goals from open play in 11 away games is rubbish.
Do you mean... ...the ones whose opinion you don't agree with? Football is no different to politics and life in general in that it's all about opinions. Your opinion isn't better than anyone else's and everyone is entitled to one! We all have our ideas about how things can be improved and surely that's what we all want.
yes, of course i do. i'm not suggesting people aren't entitled to opinions, but i am suggesting they are wrong.
