Some of what GS has said would fit in with recent events

Surely only AR believes this strike force is good enough at this level. Although we have leaked goals for fun, I believe the defence would fair much better with a more effective strike force. GS can't be happy with Richards & Wright running around like headless chickens. Hayes & Nardy are the better footballers & must start on setdy.

 

Who really thinks that anyone could look at Wright and Richards and be happy? It's not logical. We're not getting Ritchie's thoughts, and I think he hides his genuine feelings quite carefully (which I respect to be honest). I think that the players that Ritchie genuinely wants, Shepherd has said no to. Shepherd would go on the radio and say 'Ritchie has turned down the players I lined up' wouldn't he? He wouldn't go on and say 'I won't shell out for Ritchie's chosen players'. 

 

Fair point but..

AR has been quick to point out that we can't afford certain potential loan players wages, so why can't he say I wanted this player but he was out of our price range.Saying nothing always seems to paint a negative picture I'm affraid.

I don't think either of them should arguing on the radio. It seems Ritchie has gone so far, Shepherd and come back going a bit further. I just hope that the inevitable doesn't happen - Ritchie coming back blaming Shepherd directly, and maybe even resigning.</p>

This stuff always makes the club look like an unprofessional outfit.</p>
