Some PC technical help required please!

Hope some one can help me, been driving me up the wall this.

Firstly my PC has turned it's wireless feature off but it dosn't have a switch on the side like a laptop, how do I switch it on in the control panel or whatever?

And lastly is it possible to make a wireless connection invisible to pick up? If so how do I make it discoverable again??

Seeing nobody can be arsed to reply my humble remedy

Would be to go to the Control panel and find Network and sharing. Should show the status of your connection if 'off' you should be able to turn it on. failing that restore back to when it was working.
