Long time reader of this forum but this is the first time I have been motivated to post (hi!). Didn't make the match yesterday due to visiting in-laws in Cornwall but having seen the majority of games this season I cant believe how negative people are being on here.Anyone had told me this time last year that in 1 years time we would be 4th bottom in the Championship I would have been over the moon. Yes things could be better but I think Davey is getting the results needed to keep us up. By my reckoning we have 11 points from the 8 games he has been in charge which makes for roughly 60 over the course of the season which is a comfortable mid table season. The players he has are Richies and until he has chance to get players in next month it is too early to judge that aspect of his skills. Yes Williams isn't a midfielder but what was th alternative - Nicky Wroe ffs. We have 3 current central midfielders who are up to the requisite standard and 2 of those weren't available yesterday. Dont see what else he could do. Also, much as it pains me to say it Wednesday are a decent team this season and playing with the necessary confidence. Yes it is a local derby but defeats to teams who are chasing the playoffs aren't the end of the world when you are aiming to finish 4th bottom. We will lose more than we win - fact. Look at the results against the teams below us - W3 D1. Not half bad. I think we will stay up and think Davy is the man to help us achieve this game. Can we at least have some positivity ffs.
