Last time I looked we were in 6th spot... So what we concede an injury time goal, that's what makes things exciting, just like our injury time winner the other night at Oakwell.. Come on you reds, we can still do this..stay positive.
Tend to agree with most part but I think it's the manner which we conceded rather than just the fact we conceded tbh
Bang on. Think most could accept it had they been throwing kitchen sink at us trying to get an equaliser and we were holding on. Not that we gave in and let them have one
It happens to every team in football at some point. Best way to put it right is to go play Wigan off the park with the high tempo football we seem to prosper with. As soon as the tempo drops we are vulnerable. But reading some posts on here show how fickle many people are. At the end of the day the turnaround this set of players performed has been admirable, probably one of the best ever from rock bottom to going into the last day in the box seat. We are well capable of beating Wigan. If people are worried that we cannot beat them, there's no point in pushing for promotion really is there because 99% of the teams are better equipped than Wigan in the Championship.. I however think come end of play next Sunday I'll be reading from the same fickle posters moaning about how **** the ticketing arrangements will be for the play off matches...Todays match will then be nothing more than a lesson to the players and coaching staff about playing time out defensively (and doing it badly)... U reds!!!
Agree some posts have been a bit OTT and the lads have been brilliant to get us this far with some top performances but to lose the gains with performance like today's is very disappointing especially when there was nothing to fear other than our own naivety.
