In our last 26 games in all competitions we have lost just three of them.

This calendar year we have lost just one away game.

Gillingham have won just twice in their last 14 games.

Wigan are champions barring a 21 goal swing between their result and Burtons.

If your an outsider looking in those stats look amazing! And they are considering some of the performances wev had even before the JPT final. The main issue from what i see is mainly looking unable to score, slow build up play unable to create chances, central midfielders sat far too deep not willing to drive forward. Set pieces have been a saving grace for us this season.

In 2016 only 3 teams have scored more than we have....Although they've dropped off a bit since the turn of March only 7 teams have scored more and strangely enough some of those are also rans. ..Shrews..Peterborough and Colchester.

I still don't get why there's this myth that Perkins is a bad player.

He was loved at every club he'd been at before us, he then had 2 good years for us, followed by a poor 4 months (same as all our other players), he then was one of Blackpool's better players when they signed him & he's been quality for Wigan.

Apart from a dodgy half season with us he's done well everywhere he's played

I don't know why but we seem to be against running with the ball. We look most dangerous yesterday when we ran directly at goal. Fletcher's first goal came from a direct run with the ball. We must try and do more of this. Isgrove tried it a few times in the first half too. Need the rest of midfield to do the same.

It was a bit of banter pal. He's an OK player.

It was more a statement that people are making our Wigan are some unbeatable force when in actual fact they are a decent L1 club. David Perkins has played more games than anyone for Wigan. I don't think we should be fearing them. We should go with the attitude that we bloody need to win to be in playoffs and thinking we can win.
