Some stuff on onome sodje and Andy grey. May explain why he did not play much last season.

No 4k, Onone Sodje who was with us as a kid. He went to a BSP Team (Woking?) but couldn't sign a contract as he had work permit issues but he did play for them prior to decision being made. The BSP team paid for his solicitors (local MP also got involved) fees to fight for a UK work permit and as soon as it was granted he signed for Barnsley rather than the BSP Club. I do not blame Barnsley but think it says little for Onone.

Gray had an unfortunate time down here, both on and off the pitch, but if you look after him he should do well for you


I think Gray should've given us another season cos e ad loss of personal problems the lass one n we didn't see the best ahrt of im though I spect e was on much igher wages at ourn than e would be at Barnsley but us fans get nothin back for it.

It was York that got Sodje his work permit

before that he was at Ebbsfleet and he was a bit of a rum one there. (Yes I am one of the people that put their money where their mouth is)
