well done city tyke, like the site. some suggestions tho if i may:

    1) Could we put the fixtures into the calendars page?

    2) Is it possible to change the banner at the top?? If so, you could have a competition. People could upload a banner design of their own, and use the voting system to choose one. Then use the winner. Maybe do this every season?? The banner dimensions are 492 X 80 Pixels.
This gives a more fan involvement feel to the board.

    3) Just a few cosmetic tips: the links at the top of the page are a little dark (search, New threads, Stats), maybe use white for those. And there is also the black welcome text on the dark red background, Could this be white??

Anyway just my two penneth. keep up the good work.

    oi numpty

read the post!! "he's not ungrateful"

now, let's focus on the word "not" - how else could you display this similar sentiment? maybe the word "isn't". well done. what is "isn't" the opposite of? that's right!!! well done!!! it's the opposite of "is"

    jeez!!!

    Cheers for the suggestions.

I think any registered user can add events to the calendar so be my guest :)

The banner was created quickly as I didn't really know if people would want to use the site so I didn't spend much time on it. I'm not much of a designer anyway so I love the idea of having a competition to design a new one. We should definitely do that.

I'll add the other points to the list .

Don't know if it's the same with your explorer (I'm on Firefox) but if you go to View>Page Style>No Style you might find it's a bit more like what you're looking for.
