i'll say now i didn't go so can't really comment on performance etc. it is hard to take getting beaten so badly (especially as i live with a wba fan!!), but again we have to look at the season as a whole. we stayed up. we didn't need to play today, say what you want about dedication and that, but we're safe. people complaining about 50 points - we got them and are safe. we finished 20th, i'd've been happy with 21st. contracts still need looking at and we DO need to make some shrewd signings, probably a left winger (reid back if we can), a left back (i don't know who), another defensive midfielder and a centre back (nyatanga if we can have again would be brilliant, if not maybe john mcgreal as he's leaving burnley).
Today was hard to sit through at times but the party spirit was still there at the end. The players did the hard work weeks ago when it mattered, and I think today showed that very little as been done on the training pitch this week. For me I expected another couple of youngsters in from the start, but we had a half fit Howard and poor Reid instead.
I personally don't rate young Reid, and think we need an experienced one. Need pressure on Devaney also
