Souza, Magnificent JCR, wonderful to watch, at times mesmerising, at others, funny, but rather have him with us than against us Muller - great Kozluk - improving, great Nyatanga - so solid (crew) Foster - born to defend Howard - whata goal, majestic McCann - disappointing daSilva- gerrimsigned Ferenczi - sorry to hear you're injured, but phew Odejayi Oooph! Mostto - :-0 match practice needed
What a contrast to last season. We may not be world beaters but we have a confidence we never had last season. I was a Ritchie fan but Davey is winning me over. Great day out, there's no better 4hr round trip available in these parts.
By the way: McPhail - I thought he was simply fantastic, I'd forgotten how good he was. Fowler and JFH had flashes but you know what? I'll take our 11 any day.
Ingerland.

strength in depth I dint go like.
I spent today trying to find lady bower.

The worlds largest reservoir.
Oakwell must have been full cos I could hear you all from Worsbrough res.

Some things about Yesterday................in a nutshell of course Goalkeeper and defence...........fantastic Midfield..........our wing men were not really in the game, especially McCann out wide. Cardiff played 3 in centre midfield so it was our middle 2 against their middle 3. Hence McPhail had the run of the midfield and was MOTM. Why we didn't clamp down on him I don't know. But thats not taking anything away from De Silva and Howard who both had great games. Attack.............we lost a lot of bite when Ferneczi (spelling?) went off. Mostto tried but is a long way from being ready, but I think it will happen for this guy if he is given more games. As for Odejayi, he freightend their defence to death. It needs SD to get hold of this guy in training and give him extra tuition and a bit more confidence, because we have a star here.
Fowler & Jimmy Floyd both built like Jade Goody Think Fowlers hoping to develop the 'I'm a pleb' crowd rapport after the thumbs up to the Ponty End for jeering his skied shot. Obviously hoping for a lucrative TV persoanlity career on retirement. Expect him on 'I'm a Celeb gemme outta here' soon
Moi - tell me he didn't almost give a nudge nudge wink wink? Almost as camp as Duncan Norville at times
Odejayi - looked a little clumsy to me but plenty of pace and strength needs to work on his heading as well, didn't win many for such a tall lad. Certainly frightens defenders, its a while since we'va had a player that can do that, so I'd stick with him.
Both were certainly putting themselves about During the second half , an aspect of the game which endears players to the fans . Especially when they're struggling to get on something of a goalscoring run . Once they do , then both will become big favourites . Neither is on top of their game at the moment goal-wise , but once they are , then it'll add even more to our play .
RE: Both were certainly putting themselves about They need to play a bit closer together, too many times Odejaye would win the ball but only able to lay off and Mostto wasn't close enough to be able to pick it up. Get that sorted and they could be a handful
