1. paul read was immense , absolutly fantastic 2. tony kay was not , at fault for fallons goal , nearly cost us when trundle was through late on 3. can we buy there lad robinson 4. richards and nardiello were ok up front but we lacked a cutting edge all game 5. some times a team is greater than the sum of all its parts 6. the reds fans ,outnumbered but never out gunned
If you watch again, Kay is marking Fallon as the ball is sent in from the freekick and Kay lets him go.
not that I care like...

i thought kay was supposed to be marking fallon not knight he was always the closest to him all be it ten yards away letting him win the long balls.
RE: i thought kay was supposed to be marking fallon not knight though i find it very harsh to blame kay for trundle get through late on. when he was fresh and our centre backs were dead on their feet. Having seen it again i thought they did enough to bloke his shot out which is why he ended up putting it wide
if i was trundle, even though i dont like it i would have... dived as soon as kay slid in behind me.
2nd half of extra time and the ref would not have had a second thought about giving a pen.

RE: if i was trundle, even though i dont like it i would have... you are right there definate pen if he had gone down
yes i remember that at the time after he missed i turned to my mate and said bet he wishes he had gone down now
exactly my point.. kay slid in and nearly took his knees out , trundle should have gone down , penatly , different outcome mind who cares , the reds are up !!!!
i do agree mate just to be fair to him on that one trundle fresh legs and very skillful. Kay probably dead on his feet. I do though think Kay often dives in a reckless way
RE: i do agree mate Looking back I think theres a case of a free kick for a high boot for Fallon's goal. Saw a few simular goals disallowed during the season.
