This is just an open message to SD.
You are a great finder of good players from around the world to fill the problem spots in the team. Our goalie is great. The defence is fantastic and has real depth on the bench. The midfield is admired by all and has international players waiting for their chances. The wingers are creative and dangerous. The problem is up front.
Mossto. When he has played he looks the most dangerous of all the attackers as he looks to get shots off. He has not played enough.
Macken. He is trying very hard but hasn&rsquo;t scored.
Stan. Good but not scoring enough.
Christianson. No idea. His time on the pitch has been limited though he has scored.
Ode. Massive heart and has his moments but has not scored.

We lost Nardiello the idiot must be kicking himself now, we have not replaced him. Even Hayes and Richards scored more than our current forwards.

You have to use your magic to find 2 real goalscorers either in our out of the club. It&rsquo;s the only part of the jigsaw missing. Even a short term solution would be worth it. Barnsley fans will not like this but I would ditch Macken bring in Hartson and play Mossto every game from the start. That would give a short term answer, longer term, over to SD get on the internet and find that attacker we lack.

I do not blame any of the forwards we have and I am sure they will all score lots of goals in their careers but they are not scoring now. It may be they just need time and a bit of luck. The game on Saturday would have been transformed if Stan had beat Kenny. The Palace game would have been won if the ref had given Mossto the penalty. I know it&rsquo;s a fine line and I am being ultra critical but we need goals.

As an afterthought I though Bruma or whatever his name is had a great game and I cannot see him losing his shirt after that performance. I would not like to have that selection decision SD. You have a surplus of talent at the back. Maybe Dom should be shoved forward to winger and give Devaney a rest, as he has gone off the boil in recent weeks.

In conclusion, well done SD so far so good. You read the game so well that I know this article is like teaching my grandma to suck eggs but we reds like to have our say. Looking forward to January to see what happens. </p>

 

I wouldn't say he's been the best striker, but I'd like to see him given a start alongside Ferenczi/Macken.

Agreed - would like to see him and Macken up front, with Stan completely rested, and Christensen on the bench, coming on for the last 20mins at Bristol.

Let him go to Chester on loan and see if he can actually shed his huge weight and get anything like fit. He might then have a chance of getting into Chester's reserve team, perhaps later their first team and then maybe worth a second look. Unfit.
