Someone tell me how Mattis is better than Dale tonge or Nicky Wroe

    I know Wroe is no world beater but Tonge looked a brilliant prospect.

    How the **** is that muppet better than either of these two?

    Davey is trying to put his own stamp on the tam, but he like many of his players will be gone at the end of the season if not before, until things change thats me done..

    id put money on it now that Mattis will NEVER make it in a barnsley shirt nt

    Well, I have to say that Mattis appears to be very similar in style to what we have already.

    I think we needed someone who would be more physical and combative.

    Mattis was thrown in at the deep end today (against a team at the top of the division).

    I'm not a fan of the Togwell / Howard central pairing either, but it would have been a more sensible selection. I'm a bit surprised Mr Davey didn't switch Togwell & Mattis during the game (rather than just taking Togwell straight off)
