Jason Scotland. Love how direct he is. Maybe could have done better with a couple of shots, but I think he always causes problems.
I thought he was excellent. He did tire, but that's why you have subs. I'd have no worries about playing him every week, but with Pedersen and O'Grady in the squad we've got genuine quality options. All three players brought in by Flicker btw for those who still want him sacked. And what fantastic players for Danny Rose to learn his trade from.
Thought he was great particularly first half and the better of our two forwards tonight. Now we have abandoned the Dagnall option we look threatening up front. And as jay said three quality strikers can only aid the development of Rose and maybe Cofie.
O'Grady never stopped trying and scored a terrific goal, but it wasn't one of his best games tonight. I'm not complaining, he was still a handful, but I also thought Scotland looked the most dangerous. Three proper strikers. Who'd've thunk it.
He shoots quickly and if on target there's always a chance he'll score as the keeper doesn't always have time to set himself. He can shoot with both feet equally well (which I'm sure you will agree with hee hee!) which makes it difficult for defenders as they can't "show" him onto his bad side. I was amazed we were in for Sharp and Fryatt as I believe our strikers (including Pedersen) are as least as good as them, if not better.
