    I don't think Flitcroft would have been given the job had he not retired. I'm not saying we wouldn't have still gone down but it does give food for thought.

    That means nothing at all. He's not on our player management team and wasn't a player on the pitch so it's just a coincidence we didn't get relegated when he was here.
