It shouldn't be difficult to do and it's not like an app is even needed as you can just arrive at the ground, pay for your stuff, get given a ticket and then at half time hand over the ticket and get your prepaid stuff. It helps staff who aren't stood around for ages before a mad rush. It helps fans because they wouldn't have to miss any of the game to avoid queues. It might make a few more more willing to buy too. Lindleys would know how many of something food wise they have sold so will need to be ready. Warm drinks stay warm ages so 5-10 minutes of the first half remaining they could fill up a few dozen of them ready to hand straight out. Everyones a winner. Good idea by MK Dons.

Unless a) you're at the back of the stand in the middle and b) want to buy something not allowed to be consumed in view of the pitch and c) 'sit daaaarn'

Lindley's are going to get ****ed off at the end of this current contract by things the club have said previously, so they won't be implementing any new ideas i would have thought.

No it wouldn't be feasable to expect your order to be taken to your seat for those reasons. But if you've ordered food/drink before the game you should be able to go pick it up on the half time whistle and still have plenty of time to eat/drink it before the second half starts without having to leave a few minutes early. Pint drinkers especially wouldn't have an issue. It would be like watching cricket at Headingley when you go for a pint and they already have dozens three quarters full ready just to top up.

It's not delivered to your seat, you order from your seat using the app. I'm guessing there's an express queue to pick up your order so you don't have to join the normal queue.

This has been discussed with Lindley's as they operate this system for drinks via a token at Sunderland and Celtic. Not sufficient numbers at Oakwell to operate this system.

Or actual 'special offers' that actually offer something other than the already existing opportunity to buy 2 products together, i.e. an actual discount for doing so.

I missed the bit they said wouldn't work. They basically bigged up these ideas then failed to implement and said nothing.

I might suggest that in my local.

The usual trick of standing at the bar with an empty pint pot in one hand and a tenner in the other doesn't work in there. You have to shout across the bar to the barmaid who is reading a book in one hand and texting with the other. You have to shout across the bar, even though there are no other customers except you, to try and distract her from her pastimes. Once she gets to the end of her chapter, she sends a final text before grudgingly serving a pint. Then back to the next thrilling chapter before the entire process is repeated.

Really good idea if you ask me.

They don't need numbers. All they need to do is.......

    1) Before a game you go to the counter to order and pay for what you want.

    2) Lindleys hand you a receipt with your order on so there can be nobody trying to say they have paid for something they haven't.

    3) At half time you queue up but the queue goes down much quicker because they know what's already been ordered so can start like 5 minutes before half time to start filling up drinks. Before that they can make sure there is enough food that's ready and not run out.

No need for a token. Just put up an express queue with a railing or two and have a seperate queue for those who haven't pre ordered. It's a really simple idea.
