I was looking through the archives and came acroos this by tina. Its poles apart from the feeling last time with Ricthie - the majority wanted him to stay but sign someone and felt the club wern't doing their bit, but then the club sacked him because of his poor record. Now we have the complete opposite. The majority want Davey out and are fed up of the rubbish being served up but the club wont take any action even though his record is (i believe) worse than Ritchies! Smells like BS to me re. Ritchie. Somethign deffo went off with him and Shep. Tinas post: I desperately don't want to feel like this, but I too am losing interest. I am passionate about BFC, but am so disillusioned by what I see as a total lack of ambition by the Board that I am struggling to really get up and go to the 'aways' and I have followed them away for years and years. We are struggling big, big time and nothing is being done to address the problems. The players are playing out of their skins, no one can fault their committment and I am proud to see 11 players so committed to the shirt, but they are struggling big time and desperately need older heads to guide them. Class shone through today when Nardiello came on, he could walk this league but Ritchie won't play him and once again Wright and Richards started. I'm saying nowt about these two as I want to get behind them and never ever boo the players, but bloody hell......... Nads is a class apart. I feel let down, not by the players who are giving their all, but by the Board and the Manager and the seeming lack of ambition for our Club. I am totally disheartened and even bitter about our lack of ambition and also about the total negativity that comes from the Club on a daily basis. Why would anyone in their right minds want to attend the games or play for us , when the Manager is 'doing down' our chances in this League and the League cup and the FA cup etc, the Chairman never speaks out and lets us know what he and the Board are thinking, Patrick Cryne is strangely silent these days, we have bargain basement 'dole' players on trial, a refusal to bring any experienced 'Heads' in, I could go on and on.. As I have stated before, I don't know who to believe these days, Ritchie or Shepherd. I am disillusioned and feel 'let down' by them both. I could weep
Unfortunately the post is made null and void by: "Class shone through today when Nardiello came on, he could walk this league" Ah yes.....he could and did walk a lot. On your point about Ritchie - I beg to differ - I thought most people, the majority at least, wanted Ritchie sacked. I didn't want Ritchie sacked and I don't think sacking Davey will help us stay up.
Nardiello at the side of our current strikers was a 'Class Act' Sorry but watched the DVD last night against Leeds and he was awesome. We all can speculate on his problems, but, surely he would have been better than we have at the moment.
