Is letting a manager send a shed load of players out and then sack him making the job much harder for the new guy who now hasn't got Noble-lazarus, dagnall or jennings (to name a few) at his disposal.
i think he was probably told players had to leave, before anyone else came in. tudgay was the last throw of the dice. bad timing i agree, but the club had no alternative really. today was as bad as i can remember seeing for a long time, and left us 6 points adrift of safety.
Agree that it seems to be a funny piece of planning / management. I was concerned that all that activity pointed to the fact that they were holding on for the forseeable. Surely, the powers that be must have seen today coming. Seems to be lacking joined up thinking. They should either have got rid of him after Millwall last week, otherwise, told him 'No' when he asked for permission to make all this week's movements.
letting a lot of players leave on loan , makes you think the sacking wasnt planned before todays poor performance
If that was the case then perhaps the new men in charge aren't as switched on as we thought then, because surely anyone could see that one more dire performance and heavy loss would make the position untenable. Surely, they must have been thinking that since Millwall?? For the most part, the fans were of that opinion, however, reluctantly.
