Solid team performance without the ball. Chances conceded but no huge errors leading to tap ins. A confidence building clean sheet, a good performance from a goalkeeper under the kosh. Still no goal from open play in a couple of epochs, but from tiny acorns oak trees grow and all that. Less pressure on the Fulham game, don’t expect too much from there. Then on to Preston. If it’s true that the prospective owners were at Griffin Park then hopefully they saw enough and know enough to realise we have a game bunch of tryers who need some quality and maybe experience around them. After the run of defeats it’s a massive point and maybe the one that keeps us up come May.
