Seems like every media organisation has employed a lip reader over the past 24 hours.

I bet they've put their prices up.....

Can't imagine Rio Ferdinand coming out with that one though!

    Nope , you're right

Two wrongs don't make a right . Never been called that before , though . Perhaps Gateshead ( where my late Mother came from ) wasn't a particular hotbed for international terrorism in the 1920's & 30's ! Still makes the Italian lad sound like an obnoxious git .

Must have been the time he spent living in Liverpool

when playing for the Toffees. Zizou should consider himself lucky to have got away without the team bus wheels having been nicked

    Not really so eloquent

Don't give Materazzi too much credit for eloquence. A common Italian insult is 'Figlio di puttana' - they use it much more than us.
It's not too hard to say 'Figlio di puttana terrorista'!

Actually the North East was where the first racial riots in the UK were.

Can't really remember the details. I think it was a load of algerian fisherman who settled in Newcastle when work was a plenty. When work became scarce it all kicked off and I think somone got killed and loads injured.

    Never heard of that before

So perhaps the insult is accurate when directed at me ?
