they were on Jools Holland? missed it- one of my all time favourite bands

I know what you mean. They still can't really play, but it somehow seems irrelevant to what they do.</p>

I always associate Sonic Youth with that bird who does dictionary corner on Countdown. I met her in a pub when I was a student and she was a massive Sonic Youth fan and kept banging on about them. Weird.</p>

 

I honestly thought they were the best band to walk the earth before pearl jam...

Dunno what went wrong.</p>
