Interest in Sonny Bradley seems like he’s going wycombe but shows we are in the market for another CB
Nothing wrong with short term signings, as long as they are straight into the starting eleven and don't take 3 months to get up to speed
Left sided and would bring experience as well leadership qualities though I can't see us signing another Central Defender unless one is leaving.
Don’t think it really matters how old a player is if it’s only a loan deal as long as he does the business.
Would have been a decent signing John Hendrie 33 why? Because these are players with promotions on their CV and add more experience to a dressing room, types of signing that just nudge you over the line
If that were true it would seem a very strange use of what are presumably scarce resources. Regardless of the fact that Bradley is a good player. McCarthy has filled in well enough while Earl was out, while Earl himself has missed very little football since signing. Plus we have the option of recalling Shepherd if DC really thinks we need more cover there. Focus on what we need please BFC.
Wouldn’t mind the CB that’s been at Wycombe and has now gone back to WBA - Caleb Taylor; left footed CB, his stats’ whilst being in the Wycombe side are unbelievable!
Because our defence is poor. It doesn't keep enough clean sheets, gives away too many chances and get made to look ordinary far too often like against Orient or last half hour against Crawley.
Point I was making was it suggests a change of approach in recruitment as couldn’t see him being a back up.
I don't mind a couple older players we have plenty of experience at this level. *note there's a difference between age and experience* but not sure he's what we need. My top 2 targets in January would be another keeper and a striker.
Assuming it’s true. I haven’t seen a single reliable link to this… and he’s signed for Wycombe. factor in we have 5 CBs at the club and the Chronicle says we were after a striker, goalie and wingback (which we have with Farrugia). It just stinks of someone spouting made up rumours for attention.
