I cannot get it to transfer any files onto my computer.
I have installed the disc and drivers.
Connected the lead to my phone.
When I click on the file manager icon it keeps saying not connected.
The icon was active once and then when I disconnected my phone it wouldn't recognise it again.
What on earth am I doing wrong?.
I want to look at the camping pics I took with it on my pc and haven't a card reader to read the memory stick.
    Is my phone faulty?
Couldn't get the drivers to load at all on my Acer laptop running windows 2000 Professional.
I guess I must be thick or suimmat!

I think i may be able to help you ........

With regards to the photos, as far as im aware they are automatically stored to your memory card which acts as one of those memory sticks things. You dont need to use the file manager thing that says not connected.. Just open my Computer and there should be an extra drive there to click on. Double click on the dcim folder and then they next folder and hopefully -- wippee you photos are there.
    Hope it helps m8

Have you looked on their website? Might need new drivers, and check the FAQ section - if they have one

Tina, I've got one of those phones and have not had any trouble with it. I use it for photos all the time. As long as you have installed all the software, connect it to the USB port of your PC then WAIT FOR ABOUT 10 SECS. You should then get a menu. Choose the option that says you want to download photos to your PC and away you go. You just have to tell it where you want it to save them to. Email me if you need more advice - reds@totalise.co.uk.

Thanks for that but the driver is not showing at all so I still couldn't see my pics.

I know this doesn't help at all, but...

I used to have same kind of a problem with my old phone (not a Sony Ericsson)
Sometimes my computer recognised it when I plugged in the data cable, usually not...
Hmm.. Try restarting your computer and unplugging the cable and see if that helps?

Good luck, I hope you get it sorted out Tina! :)

    Tina....

Uninstall everything- make sure all the Sony-Ericsson software is off the PC. Then reinstall and make sure the phone is not connected.

Then see what happens.....if you need drivers that are somehow missing I should be able to email them 2 you.

    RE: Tina....

    Thanks Harrow T.
I'm having a nightmare with this phone trying to get it synchronised with the pc, it's taken all the joy away of owning the phone in the first place as i can't transfer any files and it won't recognise half the stuff.
I'll do what you say but how will I know which drivers are missing if that's not a daft question. I'll probably have to email you if that's ok.

Thanks tomi, nothing seems to work though. I'll switch off having done a complete uninstall of the software as Harrow T has suggested and then see what happoens.

    Tina,
Wayne had a similar problem when he first got his. When you connect it to the PC - WAIT!! It could take up to 30 secs for a menu to appear. Then click on option that says download photos to PC. A wizzard then takes you through it.

    Cheers Bob.
I'm now doing what Harrow Tyke said. I've uninstalled the PC Suite and will now re-install it. Before i do, the actual pc disk says K750 on it, does that mean then that it's an older version and the possibility that I may need newer drivers after all?

Dont think so but can't be sure unless I look at mine. It's at home - I'll look at lunchtime and let you know.

Just checked with Nat who helps me do these things! I don't think you need the drivers to be inbstalled. Just plug your phone in and Windows does the rest. Just follow the instructions - BUT MAKE SURE YOU WAIT AFTER PLUGGING IT IN!
