Barnsley have joined the hunt for Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam who spent the latter part of last season on loan at Blackpool. Liverpool's Adam Hammill would love to have another loan spell with Barnsley - and hasn't ruled out a permanent deal with the club in the future. "All I know is that I've been told to return to training with Liverpool on July 6 and then hopefully I'll get a chance to chat to the manager and discuss my future. I really enjoyed my time with Barnsley. It was probably one of the best loan spells I've had. I'd really consider going back there. All the players were great with me and I felt really settled at the club. I always gave 110 per cent and was so glad the club stayed up". Luke Steele would love to stay at Oakwell, but has revealed he has attracted the interest of a number of other clubs. "I've been talking to Barnsley, but they know that there are few other clubs in the mix, Hopefully we can sort something out, but I've been talking to a few clubs. I can't really say who those clubs are, but there's been some good interest in me" Steele told The Star. Defender Rob Kozluk has expressed the need for the Reds to bolster their firepower next season. The former Sheffield United full-back is keen to see Oakwell boss Simon Davey sign a new striker ahead of the 2009-10 campaign, even though long-term injured hitman Iain Hume is expected to be back. Barnsley manager Simon Davey hopes to establish how much money he will have to spend on players after a meeting with Tykes owner Patrick Cryne. Davey has yet to discuss his summer plans with Cryne, but hopes to bring in several new faces in a streamlined squad for next season.
Might be a little worrying in a bit if Kozluk, Hammill, Steele and others go elsewhere. For now keeping calm
