At our club is untenable. I certainly don’t like mangers being relieved of there duties but I don’t think you know your best formation, team, subs or alternative plans. We haven’t won since NYD and we don’t look close to winning a game either. The first half today we appeared to have a plan and it worked, we had 2 men fairly wide all half and we looked dangerous, the second half we went narrow and deep and looked weak as piss, why on earth not bark orders to go back to plan A? The play offs are just about gone imo, it’s damage limitation from here now till May so let’s cut our losses and start what’s looking like a major rebuild. On a different note, I asked my dad on the way home who he thinks is good enough to get us out of this league, he named 1 and 2/3 on-there day players……that just indicates what we are at the moment If he does go I wish him all the best in the future
Exactly my feeling, I hate to say it but He'll have to go, but who's going to replace him???? I don't thing Conner is ready yet, could be wrong minst.
We all thought that this guy with lots of league 1/2 experience would be just the ticket…….i honestly think the team is capable of better things under a different manager
If we don’t have a change of manager surely the board are excepting responsibility for poor backing /recruitment.
You are probably right, next step will be in deciding when best to appoint Hourihane as his successor and hopefully appeal to fans to hail the new king(i.e. season ticket renewal), albeit with Conor’s lack of experience.
No chance of Warne. Why would he come to the complete mess that is BFC? Doubt we'd offer him much money anyway.
The board will have opinions on how effective Clarke is day to day, whether his training and tactics are effective, and whether his attitude remains collaborative and positive or has descended into acrimony. If those opinions are positive then he'll stay in post and they'll save their money; if those opinions are negative then they'll jettison him accordingly to try and preserve their own reputations. Come the end of the season there'll also be the cynical considerations of season tickets and incomes for next season, and unless we've got into and performed in the playoffs, I don't fancy his chances.
Neerav has already stated this squad was good enough for top 6, whether you agree or not. This team isn’t looking like it’s going to compete top 6, maybe bottom 6. So Clarkes position is untenable unless he finds something in the next couple of weeks. And if not, then has Nareev decided it’s just the players aren’t good enough? In which case he has to sack the director of football. Either way “,someone’s for the chop.
