    Nothing in his managerial record suggests that that is even remotely likely. He was heavily bankrolled at Swindon and the following season they ran in to financial difficulties. He took over a demoralised Sunderland and the players threatened to walk out such was the divisive effect he brought to the Club.

    Given where we are now it's tempting to succumb to reckless abandon and see what happens with Paulo.

    Certainly of more interest than the others, did well at Swindon and would settle right in on Tuscany Gardens off Donny Road.

    In the current climate of lunacy seems to make some sort of sense.
