What time is the fight scheduled to start?

Trying to take my break at the same time so I can listen to it on Radio 5.

Should be fight of the year until December 8th anyway

    Didn't realise it early morning

Means I can head in to central London after I've shut the pub and celebrate 3 points and watch the fight live

RE: Didn't realise it early morning

I would say the fight should be around 1.30 as the programme is scheduled to finish at 3 am.

    American Exposure

More money for the fighters, same reason Ricky Hatton fought at 2am

    **** The Yanks

Does my head in that we know guys like Calazghe and Hatton have been great for years and yet in their bigger fights the Yanks all of a sudden are interested and we miss out on the better deal (us long term fans), by having it on at a stupid time.

    Don't be daft

Proper boxing fans in America fully understand how good (or not so good) Calzaghe and Hatton are, however just like in England, certain fight fans will only watch what's on tv, therefore to get extensive exposure that could potentially triple a fighters earnings, they need to be on prime time American tv.

Can't complain as it makes perfect sense. My only argument is how can two European based fighters prepare to fight at 1:30am? Surely the body clock just isn't prepared for it.
