    And, due to our ineptness last season v Donny, this is the most important game of the season so far. We MUST get some pride back if nowt else.

    Ingredients
    For the Charlotte
    ½ ready-made Swiss roll, cut into finger slices
    110g/4oz cream cheese
    1 tbsp icing sugar
    For the sauce
    110g/4oz strawberries, hulled
    1-2 tbsp icing sugar



    Method
    1. To make the Charlotte, oil two dariole moulds and line them with cling film.
    2. Line the moulds with the Swiss roll slices, similar to lining a summer pudding.
    3. Mix the cream cheese and icing sugar together and spoon into each dariole mould.
    4. Top each mould with a final slice of Swiss roll.
    5. Invert the puddings onto serving plates.
    6. To make the sauce, place the strawberries and icing sugar into a blender and process until smooth.
    7. Strain through a fine mesh sieve.
    8. Serve with the strawberry Charlottes.
