    made an accusation that they racially assaulted him ( which doesn't mean physical violence as a load of people have misinterpreted).

    Police investigated it.

    Found that there was not enough evidence (presumably) to press charges.

    Case closed.

    Sheff Star tried to create a drama by saying Davey had a selection "crisis" when there was nothing of the sort.
